Minutes of Board meetings, January 17, 1884-June 26, 1917.

Minutes of quarterly, annual and special meetins of Board primarily comprise quarterly reports of Board's secretary which contain statistical information on number of applications for certificates received and refused, number of certificates issued and revoked, number and kind of contagious diseases located and treated, condition of water supply and sanitation facilities, number of sanitation inspections conducted by Board, amount of correspondence handled and number of Board publications distributed. Also contained in minutes are Board proceedings in cases involving issuance and revocation of certificates, recognition of medical schools and complaints made against schools or individuals. In complaint cases Board minutes note name of individual or xchool against whom complaint was made and any action taken by Board. Infrequently included are reports of Audiging Committee on Board salaries and office expenses; attorneys' reports on legal action involving Board; statistical reports of Chief Inspector of Lodging Houses; and record of other Board business such as court decisions, proposed legislation, examination questions and discussion of value of osteopathy.
